The bumps are what you climb on

Two child go climb a mountain
They follow the pathway to go to the top of the mountain
On the way, one of them said "why this pathway has a lot rock/stone/bumps?? It make me harder to climb to the top, why God not pick it up and make a straight and easy way??"
But the other said "Hei, that's bumps is your anvil to go more higher than now...."

How do we look like? the first or the second child?

A lot of people has the same vision with the first child, they angry with the "bumps" of the life, they want it dissapear, they won't confront it...Yeah we frequently do this when we confront a difficulityin our life and think that God leave us, think that HE unconcerned with our problem, we think that our life is end and the other..

But God will not make the "bumps" dissapear from our life, He will not lifted it up and make an easy way for us...
but Lord will do this :
Stare at you, to guard you, He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you're able to bear, He will make an "escape" way, and He promise that the temptation is in His authority to make us reach a higher place in life, to make us more mature in faith.

We must have the perspective of the second child, that this bumps is good for us, it is an anvil to we climb higher in life and GOD has the higher authority here.

1 Cor 10:13No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God [is] faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear.

reflection from the book of Warren W. Wiersbe "The bumps are what you climb on"
